CHEMITOOL machine taps in form B require a high torque, with low threading pressure, achieving a better surface finish.
In the DIN 371 version, it is ideally developed for opening threads where there is a need to pass through the material, thus increasing the longevity of the tool.
In the DIN 376 version, it is specially developed for opening threads where there is no exit in the material. This type of threading/drilling is called “blind drilling”.
On DIN 371 / DIN 376 machine taps in form B, the chamfer type has 4-5 progressive threads, these are in accordance with the DIN ISO 13 metric standard.
In HSS-G M2 (blue ring), it can be used on steel and non-ferrous metals with a hardness of 800 N/mm2.
In HSSE-G M35 5% Co (green ring), it allows its use on steel and nonferrous metals with a hardness of 1000 N/mm2.
The thread pitches of the machine taps comply with tolerance class 6H.
Metric machine taps have a square-shaped insert (according to DIN 10), to be firmly held in the power tool adjusted for this purpose, thus preventing springing when torsional forces are being exerted.
Packed in a blister with holes for display.
Available also in 7 pieces set in a metal box.
