The CHEMITOOL fine thread metric round die in accordance with DIN223, DIN EN 22568, is used manually to create external fine metric threads. They normally have three or more cutting edges, being used in manual screwdrivers or even lathes.
The internal geometry (holes) of the round die serves to quickly and constantly remove the swarf during the threading process.
At CHEMITOOL we have version/form B of the round die, which is defined as being completely solid with a side groove, which is the most common in terms of use.
These types of metric round dies were manufactured for the manual production of external fine metric ISO threads in accordance with DIN13, non-ferrous metals with a hardness of 800 N/mm2.
The thread pitches of the round dies comply with the ISO 6g tolerance class.
Packed in a blister with holes for display.
