  • 2-piece game
  • Fully rectified
  • Resistant to breakage

The CHEMITOOL fine thread metric tap set is used manually to open fine metric threads. Normally it should be used in a scaled manner, that is, following the cutting process, starting with the metric roughing tap (1 ring), ending with the final finishing/grinding tap.

This type of metric taps were manufactured for the manual production of metric ISO fine threads in accordance with DIN13 standard in through and blind holes in steel, non-ferrous metals with a hardness of 800 N/mm2.

The thread pitches of metric taps comply with tolerance class 6H.

Metric taps have a square-shaped fitting (according to DIN 10), to be firmly held in the adjustable or ratchet-shaped screwdriver, thus preventing springing when torsional forces are being exerted.

Packed in a blister with holes for display.
