CHEMIFOAM Polyurethane Foam B1 is a single component, fire-resistant product. Once applied, it becomes an excellent thermal and acoustic insulator, with strong adhesive properties.

Description

ADVANTAGES

  • Easy application
  • Quick Curing
  • Excellent thermal and acoustic resistance
  • Fire-resistant up to 240 minutes
  • B1 fire resistance classification
  • Low expansion
  • Compact structure and fast curing in contact with humidity
  • With high adhesion capacity

INDICATIONS

During the application, the ambient temperature, as well as the can temperature, must be between 5°C and 30°C. The ideal temperature of application is +20°C. If the temperature is too low, the foam can be heated in a warm room or hot water, not exceeding 30°C. The uncured polyurethane foam can be removed with acetone. After the hardening process, it can only be removed mechanically.

Restrictions on use: adheres well to most building materials except for Teflon®, polyethene and silicone surfaces.
The hardened foam is sensitive to ultraviolet rays and direct sunlight.

Application

APPLICATION

Recommended for assembly and/or thermal and acoustic insulation in most building materials such as wood, concrete, metal, aluminium, ceramics, stone, plaster, fibre cement, styrofoam and rigid PVC. Suitable for the installation of fire doors and windows, filling and insulation of joints and failures in buildings and fire protection divisions.

INSTRUCTIONS

Before applying, surfaces should be clean and dry, avoiding the existence of dust, loose particles and grease that can cause poor adhesion.
To ensure the best results, surfaces should be moistened before application as the foam will expand due to moisture.
Shake the can at least 20 times and place it on the gun with the valve pointing down. The foam output can be adjusted by the gun trigger.
